Beyond the B-Roll: Treating Stock Like Cinema

Most people hear the words "stock footage" and picture sterile corporate boardrooms, hollow handshakes, and soulless smiles under flat fluorescent lighting. When Cardboard Spaceship brought me on to direct and film a series of vignettes for their Filmsupply collection, the goal was the exact opposite: create library footage that refuses to look or feel like stock.
